- Accumulator
- A type of bet where winnings from one selection roll onto the next, multiplying the odds and the risk.
- American Odds
- Odds expressed as a positive or negative number; positive shows profit on a $100 bet, negative shows how much you must bet to win $100.
- Anytime Goal Scorer
- A bet that wins if the selected player scores at any point during the match.
- Asian Handicap
- A points adjustment applied to a team to make a match more even for betting, like giving a weaker side a +0.5 goal advantage.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting, used to manage your wagers and risk.
- Bet Builder
- A feature that lets you combine multiple markets from the same match into one custom bet.
- Both Teams to Score (BTTS)
- A wager that both sides will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- The option to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or minimizing a loss.
- Correct Score
- A bet that asks you to predict the exact final score of the match.
- Decimal Odds
- Odds expressed as a single number that includes your stake; multiply your stake by this number to calculate total return.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes in a match, such as win or draw, reducing your risk.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that eliminates the draw outcome; you win if your chosen team wins, and get your stake back if it ends in a draw.
- Expected Value (EV)
- A measure of the average amount you can expect to win or lose per bet if you repeated it many times.
- First Goal Scorer
- A wager on which player will score the first goal in the match.
- Fractional Odds
- Odds shown as a fraction, e.g., 5/1, meaning you win 5 units for every 1 unit wagered.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A bet that requires you to predict both the result at halftime and the final result of the match.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing a wager on a match while it is still ongoing, with odds that update as the game progresses.
- Juice
- The commission that a bookmaker takes on a bet, typically built into the odds, so the total implied probability exceeds 100%.
- Lay Bet
- Betting against an outcome, such as betting that a team will not win, typically done on a betting exchange.
- Moneyline
- A straightforward bet on which team will win the match, with odds reflecting each team's chances.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals in a match will be more or less than a set number.
- Parlay
- A single bet that combines two or more selections; all must win for the parlay to pay.
- Point Spread
- A margin set by the bookmaker that the favored team must win by for the bet to pay out.
- Stake
- The amount of money you place on a bet.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving an edge over the bookmaker.
